Are you saying Steve Jobs DIDN'T understand his customer base or how to market to them?

Am curious to know what companies have been successful that didn't know who their customers were and/or did not market to them as well as make a commitment to research and design

The best way to tower above the rest is to become expert in obscure areas no one else cares about.

How many people you know can carry on a conversation about opiod receptor sites and the history of donald duck comics?

Or enzyme kinetics and the importance of the Fantastic Four and how they are indebted to Brave and the Bold # 28?

Besides, evolution passes serious scientific muster on the order of The Easter Bunny so who cares what this author says?

Facebook is nothing like living in a small town. I assume someone saying this is trying to make the point that everybody in a small town knows everybody else and same on Facebook.

People living in a small town know one another but stay out of everyone else's business. Facebook far and away is modern technology's greatest method to invade your privacy. Even if one sets their permissions properly Facebook still allows people to find you and find your stuff. It's almost impossible to have a private conversation. Only use Facebook with the understanding the entire world will see what you write.

I hate Facebook and all other social networks
